You've seen the shoes more than enough times at this point and followed the news, probably checking the Four Pins Twitter for up-to-the-minute news on the Kanye x Adidas show. Yesterday, Kanye finally presented his first collection for Adidas and basically shut down New York City. Adidas was kind enough to release all the photos for free and provide a video of the event for those not fortunate (or important) enough to attend. Here's pretty much everything on the men's side of things. 'Ye led off the show with some deep words about creating things and believing in yourself and also debuted a new song, "Wolves," the first track from his upcoming album. Then there's the clothing. There was a lot on display and you can clearly see where the inspiration came from. The collection borrows a lot from Kanye's personal taste with brushstrokes from Rick Owens to Haider Ackermann and draws on military and athletic style. Most of the women's gear was tight-fitting bodysuit-like gear, while the men's skewed more toward frayed, loose-fitting sweats and outerwear. Of course, the YEEZY BOOSTS were on display, but there were also other footwear choices like a low-cut runner and chunky snow boots. Who knows just how much of this will actually be produced for the coming season, but the reception was pretty positive from those who attended. Then, just a short time after the presentation, the shoes launched on Confirmed and reservations immediately filled up. Hope you got yours. Yeezy season is here.
