Images surfaced a few weeks ago of a Nike Kobe 9 EXT draped in all red which obviously borrows from the Air Yeezy 2 "Red October." Orignally set for a December 20 release date, pairs of the fashion-forward Kobe 9 have apparently already trickled into some Nike retailers.

In addition this news, we also have a super-detailed look at what is being called the Kobe 9 EXT "Red Mamba." From an aestethic standpoint the shoe's upper is completely draped in challenge red with a textured, almost snakeskin-like, synthetic material on the heel and collar. Underneath the storm of red sits a black midsole with shiny chrome insets. Rounding out the shoe is Kobe's black signature logo on the tongue and black leather lining on the interior. If these sneakers go even close to as fast as the "Red Octobers" did, you're going to want to grab a pair while you can.

Check out detailed images of the Nike Kobe EXT "Red Mamba" in the gallery above and pick up a pair when they drop officially on December 20 for $275. If you can't wait until then, check out your local Nike retailer as pairs have reportedly already hit some shelves.
