After becoming the first American winner of the Boston Marathon since 1983 earlier this year, San Diego's Meb Keflezighi once again made the USA proud by being the first American male to cross the finish line at today's New York City Marathon.

Despite his triumph in Boston, Keflezighi was never really seen as a serious threat to win in the Big Apple. Ignoring his underdog status, Keflezighi fought his way to a fourth place finish, clocking in with a finishing time of 2:13:18. For the race, the 39-year-old laced up in a special NYC Marathon edition of his signature Skechers GOmeb Speed 3, which happened to be the same sneaker he was wearing for his Boston victory.

Check out the GOmeb Speed 3 in the galley above and pick up a pair over at Skechers for $120.
