Just last week, an Air Jordan 1 collaboration between renowned New York-based fashion label Public School and Jordan Brand was unveiled. Limited to 50 pairs for friends and family only, the premium retro 1s come at a perfect time what with the Jumpman leaping into the high-end market with the upcoming Jordan Shine.

After being awarded the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award, this marks another huge milestone for designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne. Equipped with Public School's signature aesthetic, the Jordans feature a monochromatic black upper constructed of premium leather paneling. Below is a speckled midsole and an icy outsole. The sneakers also receive O.G. "Nike Air" treatment, while Public School branding is placed behind the tongue and embossed on the heel.

Despite the fact that you'll probably never own the Public School x Air Jordan 1, it definitely doesn't hurt to admire the quality sneakers from afar. Enjoy the photos below and don't be too salty, now.
