When it comes new products in an age old game, people are often hesitant to accept change and bring their game into the modern era. This rings true for just about every pair of "lucky shoes" you've ever owned. You go a few years playing with the same equipment, then one day you sink that elusive 25-foot birdie putt, look down and give all the credit to that crusted piece of footwear that many once considered a golf shoe. Years have past, and so has technology, so Nike is challenging you to abandon you superstitions and bring your game into the now, with their latest golf shoe innovation, the Lunar Control.

The Nike Lunar Control features the proprietary full length Lunarlon sole, making for a lightweight cushioning system that is highly responsive. In addition to the sole, the Lunar Control features Nike Flywire which wraps from the midfoot to the heel for targeted support and lightweight structure.

“The shoe is designed to be in contact with the ground as much as possible and that enables me to push off the ground with more control,” says Nike Athlete Paul Casey. “For me, it’s always incredible how Nike creates great shoes, and then improves on them in the next generation.”

The Lunar Control "Play in the Now" spot follows previous ads from Nike involving the VRS Covert 2.0 technology and the new line of Nike RZN golf balls featuring Speedlock Core technology. Check out the spot, and bring your game into the 21st Century.
