In addition to a namesake signature boot for team rider Jake Blauvelt, adidas Snowboarding has rolled out another model inspired by none other than the larger-than-life Samba soccer shoe.

The Samba Snowboarding Boot, which is part of adidas’ newly introduced snowboard apparel and footwear line previewed here on Sneaker Report earlier in the year, features that classic Samba look, down to the trademark suede overlay on the toe.

The boot is packed with an endless list of technical features designed to help riders tear up the mountain but stay safe doing it. This includes a Continental rubber outsole, Recco Avalanche Rescue Technology, and an adiPrene footbed for impact protection. Inside, the Samba boot is lined with an antimicrobial merino wool layer for just the right amount of warmth, as well as a liner made from recycled coffee grounds to neutralize odor. Additional features on the boot include an Active Heel Harness for a comfortable, locked-in fit, and adiHold transitional scaled laces for a custom fit.

Check out the complete adidas SB collection, including a special women's-exclusive rose print camo colorway of the Samba, here.
