Last night history, of sorts, was made. Mohammed Aman became the first Ethiopian to win a world outdoor 800m title as he kicked hard coming off the final bend to snatch the gold medal. At 19 years of age, Aman is the youngest to win a medal in his event. This victory in Moscow supersedes his 2012 World indoor 800m title and came against a terrific field. To make the result even sweeter his winning time of 1:43.31 is his fastest of the season.Up until now, his country men and women dominate the 5000m and 10,000m and marathon runs. Now his country can add one more notch to that illustrious belt of runners. Aman has now ignited a flame of belief amongst the youth of his country to not only dominate the sport but that your age is non-reflective of how high you can reach and great you can become.

Mohammad Aman sported the Nike Zoom Victory Elite in the "Gamma Blue" that was revealed by Nike at the begin of the IAAF World Championships in Moscow. Nike has a great showing in footwear at the event which is real evident in the photo as it seems that most of the runners at this distance happens to be wearing this shoe. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report as we being you more from the IAAF World Championship 2013 in Moscow.
