A few weeks ago we were invited by New Balance to try out their US574 Custom Shoe Program — design a pair of New Balance 574s that would be made for us at their Norridgewock, Maine plant and delivered to us in less than 10 days. Well, we figured we'd show you the fruit of our labors just in case you were still on the fence about ordering your own. Neither pair travels far from the traditional New Balance palette of greys and blues, but the options are plentiful, the materials are impressive, and the construction is what you'd expect from a pair of US-made New Balance. Plus, from computer to door in around a week. First-class production in every way. Check the video below for a closer look at the actual manufacturing process.
