Are you just as high on HBO's politics-skewering, half-hour comedy series Veep as we are? If so, then it's time to check out series creator Armando Iannucci's foul-mouthed, relentlessly funny In the Loop.

Sticking to his political comfort zone, Iannucci assembled an eclectic, though uniformly skillful, cast of character actors to scathingly poke fun at how egos and easily flared tempers can kickstart global warfare, even if peacekeeping efforts were the initial intentions.

There's plenty to think about in terms of the film's parallels to real-life, pre-Iraq War bureaucracy run amok, but it's impossible to concentrate on such lofty issues when so many witty soundbites of sheer profanity are heard in any given scene.
