Mike Tyson was just trying to enjoy some comedy at a Hollywood club on Tuesday, when a rowdy man recognized the boxer and challenged him to fight. At one point he even pulled out a loaded firearm.

The incident, which was caught on video and shared by TMZ, started when the eager audience member disrupted the comedian on stage in order to chat up the legendary boxer. Eyewitnesses told TMZ that Tyson remained seated and calm as the unruly man began to press the boxer to fight in order to “upgrade” his “status.”

“All I need is you,” the man can be heard saying to a seated Tyson. “All I need is you.”

As the host of the evening began to shove the man away from Tyson, things got a little tense. The man eventually pulled out a gun from his waistband and cocked it, sending people inside the comedy club into a panic, as audience members began ducking under tables.

Per TMZ, Tyson sat there in silence as the man quickly put the gun away before Tyson ultimately extended his arms and embraced him.

While the tense showdown didn’t result in a fistfight as the gun-toting man had hoped, the exchange comes after Tyson told the host of the Hotboxin’ podcast that he was open to getting into the ring with Jake Paul. Tyson said Paul’s team has been adamant about setting up a fight, but he’d only do it if the price was right. According to Tyson himself, that price is a cool $1 billion.
