Schumer also made a joke about Kanye. “It used to be called Asperger’s, but then they found out, this is true that Dr. Asperger had Nazi ties, Kanye.” After she tapped her microphone, she joked, “That was weird.”

This week’s episode marked Schumer’s third time hosting the comedy sketch show. The 41-year-old comedian made her SNL debut in October 2015 and secured her second hosting gig in May 2018. Schumer returned to Studio 8H about a year ago, when she made a cameo during the Kim Kardashian-hosted episode. The reality TV star later confirmed Schumer had helped craft her SNL monologue.

Schumer’s sketch show, Inside Amy Schumer, was recently revived in Paramount+ after a six-year hiatus. The show’s fifth season kicked off last month with weekly episodes dropping on Thursdays. She’s also in the midst of a U.S. comedy tour that began last week. The trek will include stops in Chicago, Las Vegas, Oakland, and San Diego, before concluding on Dec. 10 In Los Angeles.

Earlier this year, Schumer released her Hulu series Life & Beth, starred in the Universal Pictures comedy Bros, made a guest appearance on Only Murders in the Building, and co-hosted the 94th annual Academy Awards alongside Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes.
