It's somewhat less scary when there's a baseball mascot in a fox costume watching. The girls form 'The Grudge' and "The Ring' played baseball against each other.

In the early 2000s, J-Horror, aka creepy-ass slow-burn horror movies from Japan, were one of the biggest things amongst cult movie fans. Two of the biggest crossover hits were 1998’s Ringu (known as The Ring in the West), and 2002’s Ju-On: The Grudge.

This is Sadako, the scary girl from ‘Ringu’ who comes out of the TV.

And this is Kayako, the girl form ‘The Grudge’.
