Thursday marked the 10th anniversary of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's classic film Superbad. To commemorate the occasion, Rogen hopped on Twitter to share 10 slices of Superbad trivia with fans, including—but thankfully, not limited to—some fascinating "fingerfuck" insight.

In one of the most surprising revelations, Rogen noted that the film's "Down to Fuck" acronym directly inspired Jersey Shore, as confirmed to him by the cast of the MTV reality series. And the film's fitting title? That came courtesy of weed and actor David Krumholtz.

Rogen had more to share, including the real-life inspiration behind the unforgettable period blood scene. Check out Rogen's full anniversary tweetstorm below:

Last month, fans gathered for a special, sold-out 10th anniversary screening of the film at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles:

Rogen and Goldberg serve as producers on James Franco's forthcoming film The Disaster Artist, which brings to life the behind-the-scenes story of the 2003 cult classic The Room. The duo is also currently in the middle of the second season of their hit AMC series Preacher, based on the comic book series of the same name.
