Following the arrival late last month of a number of articles focused on the photographed holding of famous hands, we now have some related news of the alleged rooftop dinner variety.

Early Wednesday morning, TMZ reported that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian West—whose hands were the famous ones previously mentioned as having been held—enjoyed what they billed as a “secret dinner.” The alleged dinner took place on Tuesday evening at a Campania restaurant located in Staten Island, i.e. Davidson’s home borough.

A separate report from Page Six further alleged that Davidson had “arranged” for the dinner to be set on the rooftop, with the publication’s source claiming it was “just the two of them.” The same source was quoted as explaining the two were able to leave without commotion due to arriving without the usual security.

In October, Kim hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Halsey. The episode boasted an Aladdin-themed sketch featuring the SKIMS co-founder and the King of Staten Island star, as seen above, that has since been most likely over-analyzed.

More recently, hands were held and headlines were spurred after a trip to Knott’s Scary Farm. The two were joined on the excursion by Kim’s sister Kourtney and her fiancé Travis Barker, among other friends. Amid the widespread rollercoaster-focused coverage, however, a source told People that it was all simply an example of “friends hanging out.” Another source told E! News the same. And yet another source, as recently as Tuesday, was saying that this was indeed just a case of two people having “fun” together.

On Monday, Kim Kardashian West was among those honored at WSJ. Magazine’s annual Innovator Awards event. Next on Davidson’s release schedule, meanwhile, is the rom-com Meet Cute with Kaley Cuoco and the A24 horror entryBodies, Bodies, Bodies.
