Thanks to an Entertainment Weekly grab, Star Wars fans have been given a fresh look at Keri Russell's character from the upcoming trilogy-closer Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker.

In the photo, seen below, Russell's Zorri Bliss—thus far known to be a rogue operative and a friend of Poe's—is holding up what EW says is either a coin "or data storage device of some kind."

Previously, the Golden Globe winner shared a dash of intel on the importance of her character. "I think the entrance of Zorri is there to describe more of who [Poe] was, y'know, in a very intimate way and a familiar way, and the friends are sort of like, 'What do you mean, you know him?'" she said.

"When I read his script that he wrote I cried," Russell told the Associated Press earlier this year when asked about reuniting with her Felicity and Mission: Impossible III collaborator J.J. Abrams. "I mean who knows what it will turn out to be and I hope it remains true to what he originally wanted."

In that same June interview , Russell referenced the helmet seen in the production photo released this week, joking that rocking a face-obscuring item of that magnitude was her "dream job."

The heart of the final Skywalker Saga entry, Abrams said during D23 festivities in August, is none other than the late Carrie Fisher.

"We realized we could not possibly tell the end of these nine films without Leia," he said at the time. "We realized that we had footage from Episode VII, and we could use it in a new way."

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens Dec. 20.
