Lil Yachty may not have secured a role on Donald Glover's Atlanta just yet, but at least he’s got the DC Entertainment animated universe locked down.
Friday, Yachty dropped the official video for his "GO!" remix, a track taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming movie with a thrillingly meta title, Teen Titans GO! to the Movies. Catch the new video for the track, featuring production by DJ Khalil and Didier Cohen, up top.
Yachty appears in Peter Rida Michail and Aaron Horvath’s cinematic take on the Cartoon Network series as Green Lantern, joining a star-stacked cast led by BoJack Horseman's Will Arnett. Kristen Bell, Halsey, Greg Cipes, Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Nicolas Cage, and Jimmy Kimmel also contributed their voices to the cause. The film, only the second theatrical release in history to be based on a Warner Bros. animated series, opens July 27.
As for that Atlanta spot, Yachty actually had a chance during the inaugural season of Glover's acclaimed FX original. "I was supposed to be on the first season but I had shit to do," he recently told TMZ. "I couldn't make it. I remember that some sh*t was supposed to go down but I couldn't even do it." With Season 3 now confirmed, however, Yachty hasn't given up hope.
