Lil Yachty, Murda Beatz, and More Compete in 'Fortnite' E3 Tournament

We talked to notably confident Murda Beatz just days before he participated in the inaugural event. Was the superproducer able to come out on top against the likes of Lil Yachty and Vince Staples?

On Tuesday, 50 pro gamers gathered with 50 celebrities for Fortnite's E3 ProAm Tournament, where they battled it out for $3 million in charity prize money.

Names like Lil Yachty, Vince Staples, Sean O’Malley, and Pete Wentz participated in the inaugural event, but it seemed none were as confident as Murda Beatz.

“I’m the best,” the hitmaker told Complex prior to the event. “Partynextdoor, Terrence Ross, Ninja, Ty Dolla Sign—nobody wants to smoke with me. They’re all going to get smoked.”

Unfortunately for Murda, he didn't come out victorious. The duo who walked away with the big win was Ninja and Marshmello. Check out more in the video up top.
