Kristen Wiig will return to Saturday Night Live to host the final episode of November, NBC announced Thursday. Wiig, who's previously hosted two times after leaving the cast in 2012, will be joined by musical guests the xx, which is a double shot of great news for anyone who loves great things.
This year alone, Wiig has made appearances in four films. In addition to Paul Feig's much-discussed Ghostbusters reboot and that iffy Zoolander sequel, Wiig also starred alongside fellow SNL legend Kate McKinnon and Zach Galifianakis in Masterminds and still made time to voice a hot dog bun in Seth Rogen's Sausage Party. For the sheer fun of repeatedly reminding people of this, don't forget: Sausage Party is currently pushing really hard to get itself a well-earned Oscar nomination. Make that happen.
The xx are set to release their first album in four years, I See You, next January:
The 10-track was recorded in New York, Los Angeles, Reykjavik, London, and Marfa, Texas and is described by the Guardian as encompassing a "more outward-looking, open, and expansive approach." Peep the album’s first official single "On Hold" below:
