Oh shit. Malika Haqq and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from Jersey Shore are a thing now? That's what E! News wants us to believe, sharing an official statement from the newly minted couple Friday morning. The two reportedly met and promptly connected while shooting the forthcoming second season of the "relationship rehab" series Famously Single, set to return next year with new episodes.
"We had a lot in common from the start and it was an instant friendship," the two said in a joint statement Friday. "The attraction quickly became a mutual romance. Our support for one another through this challenging experience made us strong in a very short period of time. We had an opportunity to really get to know each other living in such close quarter. Our family and friends are aware that we are together and extremely supportive of our relationship."
Earlier this week, Ronnie had Instagram doing some serious detective work when he shared a kissing photo that was accompanied by a slew of hashtags, including one that clearly references fellow Jersey Shore costar Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola:
Famously Single, which has also given us the Pauly D and Aubrey O'Day coupling, returns next year with Malika, Ronnie, Dorothy Wang, Karina Smirnoff, Tiffany Pollard, and more.
