No one should ever apologize for sh*t like this, but I digress.

For some reason, Heidi Klum has decided to apologize to Drake for a round of ignored texts.

During an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' daytime broadcast of televised couch chats earlier this week, Klum—who recently got engaged to boyfriend Tom Kaulitz—revisited the Drake topic after its initial broaching during a previous DeGeneres interview last year.

Asked if Drake had reached out in the months since people actually wrote articles about such a thing, Klum explained her apology approach. "No, but I did," she said. "I did. I said I'm sorry because I know it made, like, a huge wave after I was here and he just made that face . . . You know, those little emojis that they send? One of those things." That's it. That's the whole story, really.

Last year, we learned that this supposed text fell victim to bad timing. "Someone who I know knows him and he asked to have my number and then he texted me," Klum told DeGeneres back in September, months after a Drake-heavy "Who'd You Rather?" session. "I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is so weird!' but then I never texted him back because I found the love of my life."

Speaking of emoji being the subject of entire news stories, this isn't the first time Drake has been a part of such a thing. His apparent use of the purple demon emoji amid 2018's Kanye West-related disagreements was, as you'll recall, actually treated like a topic of importance.
