Carrie Fisher, beloved Star Wars icon and critically acclaimed writer, died Tuesday at the age of 60. In the hours since a family spokesperson confirmed her passing to People, tributes from former co-stars and mourning fans praising Fisher's unique presence in pop culture have poured in. However, in classic Carrie Fisher form, the celebrated author of this year's Princess Diarist had already offered suggestions for her obituary way back in 2008.

"Remember that white dress I wore all through the first movie?" Fisher wrote in her 2008 autobiography Wishful Drinking. That dress, thanks to George Lucas' explanation of its presentation, provided Fisher with an anecdote she felt would later make for a "fantastic" obituary:

Lucas later came to one of Fisher's Berkeley performances, telling her backstage why he felt "brassieres in other galaxies" was a potentially dangerous undertaking. "So, what happens is you go to space and you become weightless," Fisher wrote in the hit book, which was also a successful one-woman show. "So far so good, right? But then your body expands??? But your bra doesn't—so you get strangled by your own bra. Now I think that this would make for a fantastic obit—so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra."

Fisher, who died Tuesday after suffering a heart attack on a flight to Los Angeles last week, spoke with Rolling Stone in November about this year's Princess Diarist and shared some equally classic thoughts on death. "No, I fear dying," Fisher said when asked if she feared death. "Anything with pain associated with it, I don't like. I've been there for a couple of people when they were dying; it didn't look like fun. But if I was gonna do it, I'd want someone like me around. And I will be there!"
