Only a day after news broke that Diddy would be launching his own music channel, Revolt TV, to "fill the gap left by MTV after it stopped playing music videos seven years ago," Missinfo.tv is reporting that the network has secured a carriage deal with Time Warner Cable, and will be available through the company when it launches in the fall.

The deal is said to be "one of the largest launches in cable TV history."

After the news broke, Diddy released the following statement:

As for the channel itself, it's described as the "first channel of the social media age," and will offer live performances, music videos, news, interviews, talk shows, and original series over multiple platforms including broadcast and mobile. In an interview with Hot97 today, Diddy explained that he would like to make Revolt TV the "ESPN of music," and would like to secure the rights to air Hot97's summer jams on the network.
