Big news in the Marvel world today: According to Coming Soon, Bryan Singer has announced some important details about the next X-Men franchise film—specifically, its official name and when we can expect to see it in theaters.
That's right—the next sequel in the X-Men franchise will officially be titled X-Men: Apocalypse, As for its release date, that's unfortunately pretty far off: It'll be released on May 27, 2016.
Though Singer didn't release any specific plot details or anything about what we should expect from the film, it's clear that it'll be based off of the Age of Apocalypse storyline from the comics. As Coming Soon explains:
