When Jonathan Banks speaks, you listen. It's a combination of the tenor of his voice (deep and slightly gravelly) and the inevitable association between the actor and his most well-known role: the impressively stoic Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad.
Between the beloved character's return in the upcoming spin-off Better Call Saul, and his latest role as a criminology professor on Community, Banks works with Smith and Forge hard cider. He came by the Complex office to knock a few back with us (at 12 in the afternoon, which was just fine by us) and interrogate our editors—physically.
