Denzel Washington is reprising his role as Robert McCall, a retired CIA black ops agent turned hired gun, in the trailer for The Equalizer 2. In the clip, Washington's character takes the vigilante mantle back up while avenging the death of a friend. The trailer starts with Washington's character handling some unfinished business from the first film, so you might want to skip it if spoilers aren't your thing.
The Antoine Fuqua-directed action thriller is the very first sequel of Washington's career, where he again plays a man who, as Sony Pictures describes, "serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed – but how far will he go when that is someone he loves?"
