Actress Asia Argento appears to have confessed to previous allegations of sexual intercourse with an underaged teen through a series of leaked text messages.

Earlier this week Argento, an important figure in the #MeToo movement, was accused of having sex with then 17-year-old actor Jimmy Bennett back in 2013 in a hotel room in California. She initially denied the encounter ever took place and the two reportedly reached a monetary settlement of $380,000 after Bennett threatened legal action related to the incident. Now, leaked text messages appear to Argento's past misconduct with the young actor.

Photos from the alleged encounter between the two, as well as the texts obtained by TMZ, show that Argento did have sex with Bennett when he was underage. One selfie shows the two in bed together shirtless after they allegedly had intercourse.

Text messages provided by TMZ that were reportedly sent by Argento partially read, "I had sex with him and it felt weird. I didn’t know he was a minor until the shakedown letter. The public knows nothing, only what NYT wrote. Which is one-sided. The shakedown letter. The horny kid jumped me."

Additional texts from the 42-year-old actress claim that Bennett had kept in contact with her for years on his own. "He wrote me this afterwards and kept sending me unsolicited nudes all these years up until 2 weeks before the attorneys letter," a message read in response to a photo of a note written by Bennett that said, "Asia, I love you with all my heart. So glad we met again and I'm so glad your in my life. Jimmy."

This new development contradicts Argento's original claims that the story was "absolutely false" following the publication of the New York Times piece.

Argento finished her text message conversation by stating what she would do if she were to lose her job because of the new accusations. "If I lose my job I will move to Africa or the Amazon forest. I want to be among the 90% of the world that doesn’t give a fuck about this shit."
