Jonathan Majors walked into Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday with his rumored girlfriend, Meagan Good, for a hearing regarding his assault and harassment case.
The two were seen holding hands as they walked in and out of the courthouse together alongside Majors' attorneys. Majors arrived in a dark brown suit and only spoke to the judge, acknowledging that he has to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court on August 3 for the start of his trial. The actor must also continue following the court's full protection order for the alleged victim.
Majors and Good have been spotted hanging out on multiple occasions since the actor's last hearing in May. According to People, the Shazam! actress had been friends with Majors before their relationship turned romantic. The pair recentlylast seen enjoying a meal at a Red Lobster in Los Angeles with Good's mother and sister.
Meanwhile., Majors and his lawyers are going into the trial with full force. During Tuesday's hearing, Majors' attorney, Priya Chaudhry, revealed her team submitted "additional compelling evidence" to the District Attorney that proves the actor's innocence. She also stated her team had requested a trial date to accelerate Majors' case.
"Within a few weeks of these false allegations, we provided the District Attorney with evidence of Mr. Majors' innocence," Chaudhry said in a statement Tuesday. "Last week, we delivered additional compelling evidence to the District Attorney. Following this, we strongly requested the District Attorney dismiss all charges against Mr. Majors immediately."
She added, "While we are hopeful that the District Attorney is reviewing these materials in good faith and will do the right thing soon, to accelerate our case, we've requested a trial date ASAP."
