Feed a Cold

I got sick last week and the only thing that could cure me was some chicken soup with dumplings from my favorite West Indian restaurant. Of course, I also had the oxtail but the soup was just amazing. You might not know what’s inside your bowl but you sure know it works after you're done.

My friend Vince from On & Beyond came back from Japan, and we needed to catch up so he invited me to Burgundy Lion to talk about the future and his trip over some English style fish and chips. I love the decor and atmosphere of Burgundy Lion; it really gives you that olde English pub vibe.
The Second Best Pizza

If I had to pick my second favorite pizza place in Montreal, it would have to be Tasty Food on Decarie. I know the name might sound a bit cheesy—no pun intended— but they do cook up a great Hawaiian pizza.
Meat and Potatoes

WHERE: Steak et Frites
WHEN: Monday (Feb 7), 7:30 p.m.
The St. Paul Steak cooked medium well with pepper sauce really hits the spot! Steak et Frites is a dope little spot in Old Montreal where you can bring your own alcohol and eat like a champ. If you have room for dessert, I suggest you try the Creme Brulee, which takes about 15 minutes to make but is worth every bite.

Who knew that a sake bomb tastes so good? I rarely drink so I'm not privy to the wonderful taste of some better alcoholic beverages. I went out to some sales meetings and was forced to drink a sake bomb. I liked it. The way it works is you drop the sake in the glass of Sapporo and voila: sake bomb.
