What an exciting week! I am back in New York and planning some extraordinary things for the next couple of months. I hope to be back in Montreal in time for Mother's Day to give thanks to my wonderful mother, the woman who's shown me love my whole life. The weather is finally getting better so I am getting pumped to hit the streets and take over the world. Next week I might hit you all off with a NYC Part II because of all the cool things that I saw on this trip. Thanks for tuning in!
Fast Five Breakfast
WHAT: Brazilian Eggs Benedict

This past Sunday after church I decided to hit up this Brazilian place for brunch. I guess I was inspired by the Fast Five movie, which was filmed in Brazil. Of course I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but without having any idea of what to expect. The meal came in a little frying pan, with fresh fruit, plantain, and some special Brazilian sauce. The presentation of the meal was awesome, though the Eggs Benedict was extremely different from what I was used to. I suggest that you ask for it well done if you don’t like yours runny.
Vans x OTH SHOP
WHAT: First Vans Concept Shop with OTH
WHERE: Off the Hook, Montreal

This week Off the Hook invited me to the grand opening of the first ever shop-in-shop concept with Vans. The shop looks incredible and houses the biggest Vans collection in Canada, including Vault. I got a chance to customize my very own pair of kicks and also pick up a pair of Vaults Derby’s, which I’m loving. The shop is located on the third floor of Off the Hook shop and it's definitely worth the visit. I am extremely happy with where Montreal retail is going. Expect some new retail initiatives happening around the city in a few seasons. Great job, guys!
Gold Bottle of that Hennessy?

Yesterday I went to visit my homies over at Team Epiphany and they brought me to their secret stash spot to pick up some goodies. As I was looking through some boxes, I came across a case of gold Hennessy bottles. I’ve never seen these before and apparently neither will you, unless you're at some special event. These gold bottles of Hennessy are not for sale. These are reserved for special events only. I guess the only time you’ll be able to get your hands on a bottle is at a Team Epiphany event. Good luck!
Goldfish

I guess my hotel reviews are finally paying off. When I checked into my hotel at the Tribeca Grand in Soho I was greeted by a little goldfish friend. I think this is such a great touch, a nice gesture of customer service. I also got a free upgrade, which means my room is fantastic. Maybe you should try checking in as Marcus Troy and see what happens.
Bowery Lane Bicycles
WHAT: BLB for Soho Grand Hotel

There I was, cruising through New York City, wishing I had a bike and then I stumbled upon the new BLB collaboration with the Soho Grand Hotel. If you're a guest of the hotel you can rent a bike for free for the duration of your stay. What a fantastic idea to help you get around the city! I tell you, it's the little things that get me excited. I am a huge fan of BLB and the Soho Grand properties, so this is a win in my book.
