Rockstar is advising players to avoid using Grand Theft Auto V's garages while it investigates a fix for disappearing vehicle. Vehicles and their upgrades are suppose to be saved when players leave them in their safe house garages but as many players have experience the vehicles instead simply disappear.
Rockstars acknowledged the issue on their support site saying that it "may occur if you drive another character's personal vehicle" and that it is "looking into a fix to prevent this from occurring in the future".
"In the meantime, please try to avoid parking a car in a garage, driving one already in a garage, or getting in a default vehicle, when playing as a character other than the one with your upgrades."
There is no guarantee that if you leave a vehicle in a garage that it'll be there when you get back, so find other investments for the time being and keep jacking cars with upgrades already. Grand Theft Auto V launched last Tuesday quickly becoming the fastest-selling video game in history with over $1 billion in retail sales within just three days.
