Developer Sledgehammer Games is hard at work on this year's Call of Dutyrelease and has revealed the first image from the game. It's an in-engine image (meaning, it's not from a pre-rendered cutscene) of a soldier's face. It's so close you can see the fear in his eyes, well maybe not fear. He looks quite comfortable and contemplative actually.

The image was revealed to IGN of the Call of Duty title that's been in development for three years as part of Activision's new development cycle, lengthening the time that studios have to work on titles and hopefully answer some of gamers complaints.

In my review of Call of Duty: GhostsI said that while the single player game was completely superfluous, the multiplayer was so good that it held the rest of the game up. Now that you've had some time to sit on it, what do you think? What do you want out of the next Call of Duty? More story? Changes in multiplayer?
