A week after announcing the Jan. 18 release date for Season 2 of Marvel's The Punisher, Netflix has released the official trailer for this new batch of episodes, and it looks just as insanely action-packed as you'd hope.
We're introduced to a young woman (played by Giorgia Whigham) who Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) saves one night in a bar. They realize they have both experienced massive losses in life, which seems to make Frank feel inclined to figure out who wants to murder her and why. On the flipside, it looks like Ben Barnes is back, assuming his Jigsaw moniker and his vendetta against Frank for what he put him through in Season 1.
While the future of this series on Netflix sadly feels set in stone, that shouldn't deter you from turning up when it airs. Check out the full trailer up above, and peep some of the still photos we've assembled below. Marvel's The Punisher returns Jan. 18, only on Netflix.
