One of the more intriguing things to come out of the great quarantine has been the sheer volume of podcasts that have sprung up. One of those podcasts, May I Elaborate? Daily Wisdom From JB Smoove (from the folks over at Team Coco), features “affirmations, elaborations, and hallucinations from one of comedy’s most enigmatic minds,” aka Curb Your Enthusiasm star J.B. Smoove alongside Miles Grose, two guys who have been delivering the funny since April of 2021. Complex has learned that May I Elaborate? will be doing its first-ever week of guests—appropriately titled “Reach For The F*cking Stars Week”—starting Monday, Oct. 25.
“Reach For The F*cking Stars Week” will feature the likes of fellow Curb co-stars Wanda Sykes and Cheryl Hines, Roy Wood Jr., Andy Richter, and Martin Starr, which will be a dope addition to that motivational spirit JB and Miles deliver on the regular. Their famous (and famously hilarious) friends will also be able to provide some witty, poignant commentary on life in a similar vein as JB and Miles.
J.B. tells Complex that he’s “so excited” about the week they have lined up. “This week, Miles and I are opening the fourth wall and having a guest week on May I Elaborate; we are going deep and shallow… it’s how we do!! Let’s go!! Let’s get these people Fully Elaborated!!” You know you want to get fully elaborated, right?
