Best Black Friday & Cyber Monday Gaming & Tech Deals of 2019

We know how it goes during the long Thanksgiving weekend: you spend some time with the fam, get your eat on (and your socializing on), and then you get your game face on. Why? Because you know that you have to wake up bright and early on Friday to get in on those Black Friday deals. Whether for your squad or yourself, it’s one of the illest shopping days on the calendar, where a number of outlets (both online and IRL) are dropping prices on all kinds of big-ticket items. From the iPhone 11 Pro to the Nintendo Switch Lite, the biggest items of the 2019 shopping season could be yours for a price you can afford. Even more savings are being reserved for Cyber Monday, which is always the Monday right after Black Friday, and where the biggest digital retailers drop prices on some of the biggest items in the world of tech.

What you need is a game plan, though. Or, at the very least, you need to know where you should be going to cash in on these Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. We’ve got you covered, giving you the best deals we could find for the official start of the holiday shopping season. Find deals on everything you are trying to cop for your friends, loved ones, or (more importantly) yourself.

If you’re looking to get a deal on any of the iPhones that dropped earlier this year (the iPhones 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max), Best Buy might be your destination. Their Black Friday deals include a special iPhone trade-in offer that will get you up to $500 towards the purchase of an iPhone 11. Just be sure to read the terms and conditions, and if you’re unsure if your phone qualifies, there is a tool to help you estimate the worth of your device.

For those of you looking for lower deals, Amazon has a grip of good ones, including snagging a Rose Gold iPhone 6S for like $169. They even have a deal on the AirPods Pro, just in case you’re still not down; Best Buy even has a deal on the AirPods for Cyber Monday, with the earphones (and charging case) only costing you $164.99, saving you $35. There’s even an Apple Watch Series 5 deal on Amazon, knocking $80 off the price for a total of $669. B&H has a number of deals as well.

The Samsung Galaxy family has a dope trade-in period going on through December 1 where you can get the Galaxy S10 starting from $339.99 or the Galaxy Note10 starting from $309.99, both with eligible trade-in plus free Galaxy Buds. You can also snag select unlocked Galaxy Note10 or Galaxy S10 devices for $300 off via Best Buy and Amazon, or check all of these deals out via Samsung.com.

If you’re an Android stan who hasn’t owned a Pixel smartphone and want to get in on their latest device, you might want to hit Target. Their Black Friday deal includes a free $300 Target GiftCard when you activate a Pixel 4 or Pixel 4XL via Verizon or AT&T. If you activate a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3XL, you’ll get a $500 Target GiftCard. Insane. Google also has some solid sales on the Pixel 4 and the Pixel Slate via the Google Store.

There aren’t too many insane deals for the Nintendo Switch Lite, which was released this past September, so if you can find them, expect to cough up the $200...that is, unless you take a chance on this deal. CNet reports that if you cop a Switch Lite via Antonline (through Google Shopping) and use code 19CYBERNS at checkout, you get $25 off with free shipping.

Nintendo is selling a Switch / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle for $299, which is a $50 price reduction, but know that this is the original Switch, not the latest edition.

While hardcore gamers have to wait for next Christmas for the next-gen Xbox and Playstation consoles, the Xbox One X—which gives you true 4K—is being bundled with the recently-released Star Wars game Star Wars: Fallen Order for $350, which is a $150 savings from its previous sticker price. Xbox One controllers are being sold for $39.99 as well (down from the normal $59 price tag), which can be a big help for those of you who run through controllers like they’re water.

DualShock 4 controllers are also seeing price reductions to $39.99 at multiple retailers, but if you’re in the market for a PlayStation 4 Pro, Sony’s got a Black Friday deal for you. They knocked $100 off the 4K device, giving you a 1TB PS4 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for $299.99.

Two of 2018’s best video games, Marvel’s Spider-Man (on the PlayStation 4) and Red Dead Redemption 2 are getting dope price reductions, at $15 and $30 (respectively). If your homie hasn’t gotten down with anything in 2019 and skipped either of these titles, lace them like a good friend should.

For those of you who are in the market for a new MacBook, Amazon has deals on the 256GB ($1,999, saving you $400) and 512GB ($2,349, saving you $450.00) versions of the 15” MacBook Pro. They’re also knocking off $120 from the pricetag on the Apple iMac.

If you aren’t looking for consoles or smartphones, we imagine you’ll be looking for some deals on a new television. If you’re looking to upgrade your life while also having a dope TV to play everything from Disney+ and Netflix on, you might want to check out this deal Wal-mart has on a 70” RCA Roku TV. There’s also word of a $479.99 sale at Target for a 65” Samsung 4K UHD television on Cyber Monday.
