Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of those really rare games that makes you think about more than what's going on in the game. Set in a potential future where humans can augment their physical abilities with technological implants, the question of what constitutes "fair" when the wealthy can become superhuman is pervasive in its narrative. Ten bones is an absolute steal for this gem, even if you're not sure you're a fan of stealth-action gameplay.

Let's face it, one of the main reasons you're considering Guild Wars 2 as your MMORPG of choice is because you're too damn cheap to pay the monthly subscription fees of World of Warcraft. You're pretty smart, right? At least you like to think so. Portal 2 is one of the most clever - not to mention funniest - puzzle games to be released this side of the millenium. Whether you're a fan of complex fighting systems full of counters and cool environmental damage combos, or you just like jiggle physics, the relatively new Dead or Alive 5 is on sale at Gamestop this week. A lot of folks were pretty speculative as to whether Team Ninja could pull off one of these games without Tomonobu Itagaki at the helm, but despite his absence they seem to have received some pretty solid reviews, and for more than just the jiggles.

It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to solve a mystery, but it does take a good judge of character. If you missed last year's release from Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire puts you in control of a LAPD detective circa 1947. You'll solve real-world criminal cases with your powers of deduction and perception, gathering clues by interrogating suspects and questioning witnesses, using their facial expression as a means of confirming the validity of their statements.

Liberate America from the tyranny of the British empire and liberate your wallet from the tyranny of high prices! Assassin's Creed III is on sale at Best Buy this week, and it's definitely the most interesting game we've seen in the series since Assassin's Creed II. With a new setting, a new character, and a new timeline, we get an entirely different experience that plays on the same gameplay mechanics as the last one. It's well worth a look if you think the series no longer has anything to offer you after losing interest with the somewhat repetitive Brotherood and Revelations.

If you missed this bundle deal during the Black Friday madness, it's still available albeit a little less cheap.
