Hate animals? Good. Far Cry 3 will have you killing plenty of them! Even if you don't, Far Cry 3 still offers a whole bunch of awesome open-world experiences. It's one of the most overlooked games of the year and at under $50 is a steal for the amount of time you'll get out of it.

Even if you're a total newbie, that's no reason to run and hide from Black Ops II. It's one of the most popular games of all time and one of the best Call of Duty campaigns ever released. With the season pass offering new DLC on the regular, there's tons happening online. There are a lot of reasons to like the game; hell, even old people love it!

Being nearly a year into the PlayStation Vita's lifecycle, we're starting to see some rather incredible games that offer experiences that wouldn't be out of place on the console. Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is one such title as we reported earlier in our review. With this sidestory to the main Assassin's Creed 3 stacking up to it rather well, especially with the Vita-exclusive touch controls this might be the only Assassin's Creed 3 game you need to play. Then again, can you really get enough of shanking historical figures in the neck?

Industry icon and "person you better not forget", Warren Spector seems to think Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is better than System Shock or Deus Ex. While we'll leave you to agree or disagree with that hyperbolic statement, $20 off the price certainly makes it worth a gander.

With a serious selection of sweet rides and a return to series-best mechanics, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is one of the best racing games released this year. Where it falls on the spectrum of awesome is up to you, but there's no arguing this will probably make most top 5 lists for the end of the year. At the very least, the game promises to be a little more intense than your average RC car race.

Not to be outdone by it's rival, Most Wanted, Turn 10's Forza Horizon is also on sale this week. Changing gears from the usual simulation genre to a new hybrid that rests closer on the arcade side of the spectrum, Horizon is a casual man's racer. Rather than bog you down with reality, it offers the freedom of recklessness without sacrificing its commitment to vehicular authenticity.

If you're the kind of guy who's already saddled with a stack of Halo-branded crap, then this deal probably won't mean much to you. For the rest of us however, it's a pretty sweet offer for one of our most favorably reviewed 360 games of the year. Now's not such a bad time to hop in either as the Spartan Ops mode is expanding and we've been given a peek at the next handful of free co-op missions; they lookin' good. If that wasn't enough to convince you, consider that the $20 saved could go towards the War Games Map Pass, which would give you access to the recently released Crimson map and more as they get released.

The multiplayer for Max Payne 3 might be one of the lesser touted features, but with the new DLC updates, "Painful Memories" and "Local Justice" it's a lot of fun. The money saved picking this up at Target this week could easily go to a Rockstar Pass to get you both packs and more.

For its first year on the market, the PlayStation Vita's had a pretty solid showing with plenty of worthwhile games to play. Best Buy's offering you a chance to grab one of the WiFi-only models for yourself and recieve a $50 gift card for doing so. Your best bet is the Call of Duty: Black Ops - Declassified bundle (even though the game's only so-so) because it comes with a nice hard case and a 4GB memory card for free. That 4GB card ain't going to last you long though so consider using that extra $50 on a bigger one. You'll thank us later.
