If it weren't for the god-awful Games for Windows LIVE interface, the PC version of Arkham City would have been the definitive version to own. With full support for DirectX 11, this game looks splendid on modern graphics cards and it has flawless support for wired Xbox 360 controllers making it just like the console versions - only prettier. If you've got a stomach for the stupid inclusion of GFWL, then this is a treat to own.

The Serious Sam franchise has always been great at honoring the roots of classic FPS gameplay. Sleeping Dogs couldn't have been a better Chinese adaptation of Grand Theft Auto, even if Rockstar had made it. Seriously, this was one of the most overlooked games of last year and at under $20 it's a great bargain. Say what you will about its linear nature, repetitive combat, and general lack of storyline, I loved this game. For nine bucks, getting to step inside the power armor of a Space Marine is a fair price, especially when you get right in the middle of some Ork slicing mayhem. It's fun, trust me.

I can't tell if Square Enix hates Hitman: Absolution and wants to see it hit rock-bottom prices before it's even 6 months old, or they love it so much they want it cheap enough for everyone to buy it.
