Woman Mistakes Husband for Intruder, Fatally Shoots Him While High on Meth

A Pennsylvania woman shot and killer her husband over the weekend after mistaking him for an intruder while high on meth, authorities say.
According to the Associated Press, Trista Zickefoose, 31, had used the drug with husband Greg Zickefoose, 40, at their Knox Township, Pa. apartment on Sunday night. The two reportedly got into an argument, and Trista Zickefoose later retrieved a 9 mm after hearing what she thought was a home invasion.
She fired a warning shot, and her husband attempted to take the weapon, but she shot him in the chest after mistaking him for an invader.
The Associated Press adds that she remains incarcerated at Jefferson County Jail on a criminal homicide charge.
