Authorities in New York City arrested two women in the Bronx this week, recovering $5 million worth of heroin in the process.

The New York Daily News reports that they witnessed Rosa Vasquez and Carmen Garcia exit a heroin mill around 11 a.m. on Wednesday before fleeing in a van. They stopped in a parking lot roughly 10 minutes later during a haphazard attempt to dispose of the vehicle.

Police found 25,000 glassines of heroin, and both Vasquez and Garcia were charged with criminal possession of controlled substance.
