New York City's payphones are rapidly vanishing, but have you ever wondered where they go? For one, they do go to Heaven, but they're buried first and Dave Bledsoe has discovered a tomb in Manhattan. The photographer located this "payphone graveyard" consisting of at least "one hundred old, battered pay phone" beneath the West Side Highway at 135th and 12th Avenue.

The children of the not-so-distant future will soon look at payphones like dinosaurs.
