A Texas teenager allegedly set his mother's clothes on fire because she would not give him money to buy marijuana, authorities say.
The Smoking Gun reports that 18-year-old John Carter of Houston asked his mother for the money last Saturday morning. When she refused, he set her clothes ablaze, resulting in minor damage to their apartment. Carter was arrested and charged with arson, then taken to Harris County jail where he was held on $30,000 bail.
