South Korean Dunkin' Donuts Locations Create Their Own Cronut

If you haven't heard, Dunkin' Donuts locations in South Korea have created their own version of the cronut. It's called the New York Pie Donut ("NYPD," so clever), and it's available in Jamsil, Gangnam and Myungdong. The comparisons are inevitable, so New York Magazine's Grub Street crew decided to test the Dunkin' Donuts creation out:

It's kind of hard to make the comparison when you've never tried the original, no? Anyway, they were popular enough to sell out in under 40 minutes, so just like the real NYPD, these aren't going anywhere. Will the lines ever get this bad, though?
