Man Scales Fence of U.S.-Mexico Border, Tries to Hang Himself

A man was seen trying to hang himself from the U.S.-Mexico border over the weekend.

The Press-Enterprise reports that the man, a 27-year-old Mexican citizen, was spotted scaling the fence on the Mexico side of the border around 7 p.m. Sunday evening. When a U.S. Border Patrol agent attempted to stop him, the man put a rope around his neck and began to hang himself:

The agent was able to revive the man, who was hospitalized at Calexico Regional Medical Center.
