This is beyond disturbing.
Julie Zalinski of Reading, Berkshire, England watched her boyfriend Adrian Rowland commit suicide via Skype. Zalinski told the Mirror that she and a friend looked on in shock as the 53-year-old Rowland slashed his wrists, throat, and stomach while on a business trip in New Delhi.
According to Zalinski, Rowland "walked into the kitchen, grabbed a glass and smashed it on the table then stuck it straight into his neck." Still traumatized, she added, "He was holding his bloodied wrist out to the screen. He wanted us to see. I don’t think he realised he was bleeding."
She called the police hoping they would reach out the authorities in New Delhi, but Indian law prevented police from breaking into Rowland's room. As a result, he bled out and eventually died.
Zalinkski believes Rowland's suicide was the result of a mental breakdown, as he kept repeating, "They are going to get me, they are going to get me."
