Dominique Ansel will endear himself to people once again by giving away free cronuts and cookie shots. This is being done in good faith, as well as to promote the unveiling of the cover to his cookbook, Dominique Ansel: The Secret Recipes.
Though the book will not be available until Oct. 28, Dominique Ansel Bakery will be giving out free cronuts and chocolate chip cookie shots at random Manhattan locations from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. today. Consider it an early Easter gift:
