On Nov. 19, residents of the Japanese city Yokosuka found four backpacks on the beach of Kanagawa which contained 80 kilos of cocaine worth an estimated $48 million. Roughly 20 bricks of cocaine wrapped in waterproof tape were found inside of each bag, with each brick weighing about one kilo.
According to Fuji Network News, this the largest illegal drug seizure in Japan's history.
