Kate Upton has been keeping a pretty low profile for the past couple of years. After she broke out into the scene in 2011 as a Sports Illustrated Rookie of the Year, the bombshell model quickly rose to fame, snagging now-iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers in 2012 and 2013, as well as countless other magazine photoshoots and covers.
However, with the exception of a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover earlier this year, the 25-year-old model and actress has been noticeably less present on the pages of glossy magazine spreads.
That said, her most recent cover story for The Daily Front Row is causing quite a stir. The fashion magazine has been teasing Upton’s photo shoot for the past couple of days on their Instagram, but after the magazine hit the newsstands today, a fan account thankfully released even more images of the spread for fans to get an advance peek.
Upton's next move is a starring role in The Layover, a road trip sex comedy, which will be released on August 3 on DirecTV Cinema before a limited release in cinemas in September of this year. Upton stars in the movie alongside Alexandra Daddario, who is dating Upton’s boyfriend Justin Verlander’s brother. The more you know!
The photo shoot color palette is almost exclusively red-white-and-blue, which is fitting for the magazine’s “Summer Issue” and the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. This is as close as you'll get to actually celebrating our nation's birthday with Kate, so savor it.
