Congratulations are in order for Keke Palmer and boyfriend Darius Jackson, who welcomed their first child together, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

Palmer shared a series of photos on Instagram Monday, announcing that the two have officially been parents for 48 hours.

“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match,” the Nope actress wrote.

Palmer’s caption addressed each of the six slides in her post. For one, she quoted Drake’s 2018 “Emotionless” lyric “I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world,” adding “hahaha” before writing, “I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide.”

She also said “the baby love Rolling Ray, cause purrr,” and wrote of her relationship with Jackson, “Darius always made me playlists when we first started dating, ‘Someone’ by El Debarge was a favorite. We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God!”

Palmer confirmed rumors of her pregnancy during her opening monologue in her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in December. “There’s some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby,’ ‘Keke’s pregnant.’ And I want to set the record straight. I am,” she said before opening up her jacket to reveal her baby bump.

Keke returned to 30 Rockefeller Center for an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she accidentally revealed that the couple were expecting a baby boy while discussing his possible astrological signs.

Palmer has been cast to star alongside Sacha Baron Cohen in the film Super Toys, which will be written and directed by David O. Russell. The two will play “groovy ’70s toy sales reps on a life-and-death mission to save themselves, their marriage, and their live-wire 12-year-old daughter while on the road in Middle America.”

Palmer earned widespread critical acclaim, including a Best Supporting Actress win from the New York Film Critics Circle, for her role as Emerald in Jordan Peele’s latest directorial effort Nope.
