Apparently, temporary head modifications are all the rage in Japan. The new trend—called "bagel heads"—involves injecting saline solution into the individual's forehead, causing the forehead to puff out. The injector then presses his or her thumb into the expanded portion of the forehead, creating a bagel-shaped look that lasts for 18-24 hours (insert joke about obese Americans).
It looks like Japan really upped the "crazy quotient" with this fad.
