It didn’t take long after Hilary Duff separated from husband Mike Comrie for Aaron Carter to come out of the woodwork to proclaim his love for his ex. Earlier today, Carter retweeted an image of Duff on Twitter and followed that up with these cryptic posts:
The strange thing is that Duff and Carter broke up while they were still teenagers. Since then, nearly a decade has passed and Duff recently had a kid with her now-estranged husband. While most people would have moved on long ago, it seems like Carter is still hanging on to the days when he and Duff were an adorable teenage item.
This Twitter confession will either prove the value of persistence or be just another example of how creepy exes can be.
